| Let me first start by saying that my expectations weren’t set high for these flats, and I am 100% happy and satisfied with my purchase – they exceeded my low expectations and surprised me!I fly internationally often and always take my shoes off (wearing compression socks) on 13+ hour flights. Sitting in economy / coach class or economy plus / comfort class (even with a little 3 inches more legroom it doesn’t make much of a difference) means I don’t have a lot of room to put my shoes back on, especially if the person in front of me has their seat reclined and I have a bag / carryon underneath the seat in front of me, too. When I need to go to the bathroom or walk around the cabin (to prevent from getting blood clots – if you’re reading this and you have a similar occurrence with me then I suggest always wearing compression socks on long-haul flights and walking around as much as you can) I obviously put my shoes back on (yuck if you don’t), and it’s always awkward with me trying to slip them on quickly, since the airplanes are close quarters to others and leave you NO personal space (okay, except for business/first class). These foldable flats are the perfect solution to my problem and while the material feels a little cheap/flimsy, the rubber sole on the bottom isn’t very thick/sturdy, they get the job done and are easy to slip on/off with minimal effort and fit comfortably like my favorite pair of flats. I am in between a size 8 and 8.5 and the Large size fits me perfectly all around. I have a bit wide feet and these flats don’t scrunch my toes together uncomfortably or cut off my circulation. They are lightweight and I wouldn’t wear them outside, but my purpose for wearing them while flying is perfectly satisfied and achieved. The back part of the flat that is scrunched doesn’t rub my ankles or back of my feet in any way. These flats stay on my feet despite being lightweight. They sort of form / mold to my feet perfectly. I feel like I’m not even wearing them. The inner sole is a soft brushed fabric and I wish it were a bit thicker but then again, these aren’t meant to be your everyday walking flats. They are meant to be worn for short periods of time and not out in the elements. Looking at them from afar, you can’t really tell (at least not for me) that they are cheap-y and slipper-like, they look like normal flats. I like that they don’t look like slippers but just ballet/ballerina flats.I really love the color and will be purchasing a few more pairs in other colors. The drawstring pouch that they can be stored in once they are folded is the same material as the flats (so again, not the best quality) but it is the perfect size to carry with you / pack along and it isn’t bulky nor does it take up much space. Perfect for a carryon!I also will be packing a pair of these in black color just in case my luggage gets lost (yes, I check my bag, I am an overpacker) and I don’t have access to my regular flats. These would suffice in a last-minute emergency situation like that.You get what you pay for. For this price point, it’s a steal and great buy. Go ahead and add them to your cart. |
| I bought these for my Las Vegas vacation. They fold up easily and fit perfectly in my small-ish purse. They were a life saver for when I wore heels for a nice evening out but we had to walk from place to place (the casinos are huge and everything is far apart). I especially loved how cute the sequins on them were- perfect for the trip and cute enough to wear when I was just done with my heels for the night. They are flimsy and offer no support but they will hold up and get you from place to place. I think I walked a total of 5 miles on them over the course of the trip and they held up great (no blisters even!). The bag they come in will also keep them from getting your purse gross. I just used hand sanitizer after folding them up since I had to touch the soles to do so. I highly recommend these and think I will buy a pair for every vacation that may require heels at some point from now on. |

However, the back of the shoes have elastic, so they rub the back of your heel making them irritated after awhile. So I suggest wearing a band aid or silicone on the back of your heel. | This is like a bittersweet product, that has my factual rating of 2.75 stars, rounded up to 3 stars. Maybe I would be able to recommend (more so) the kinds of these flats without the sequins, but with the sequins, after one wear they start looking cruddy, and hang off a bit, so you can tell that after several wears? They’d be in the garbage!I would not at all recommend the sequins pairs, unless they are being wore once, and once only. The others I could only imagine would hold up better, but I’m here to review the ones I actually bought. Gold and black ones for my 11 year old twins. They are a size 4 kids, which is a 6 woman’s, and they had to pull a tad to stretch them to fit, but they did go on, and the one time they wore them I did not hear any comfort complaints, however, there is no support, and they both have flat feet. Keep that in mind. If you are trying to save your feet from uncomfortable shoes, these may prove just as bad or maybe worse if you have an arch.. especially a high one like I do.Definitely, these are just made as an emergency pair of shoes in a bad situation (hard day at work and walking to your car or train, etc, but sneakers are better.) Even though the price isn’t horrible, I think they shouldn’t cost more than $10 based on quality. It’s a good idea and all, as I love the concept of the fold up and storage in the little cute package, thrown easily into your purse, but comfort for many is lacking, and sequins on flats like this (the lowest of all shoes, almost like shoe socks), isn’t ideal for your feet and body, in general. Your joints and back and such. If you are young, you’ll fair better, just like in heels.My twins were able to walk and not complain, but again, they have flat feet, as an adult I’m sure my feet and back would be hurting. It’s a trade off but at what price to your feet? Everybody is different. Some may think this is the best thing since sliced bread, others may agree that the quality and comfort factor is a bit lacking for the mola, it’s all a matter of opinion, and I guess.. one’s feet, in part.We can agree to disagree on this one, but as far as what I see, these could be made better. For me, it’s not worth it, but to each their own. They did not meet my expectations, overall, therefore, I rate them just slightly under ‘ok’ at ‘ah’. They have their pros, but also cons, too. For me, I’m not super impressed by them, in a whole. My twins not complaining that one time worn, gives this a full star in this review. That was the best part, but they weren’t on very long. I’d say size up one, as these were pretty tight. I don’t think adding a little space on a pair that’s up one size from your norm would be a bad thing, or affect anything in less than a positive way in these.Rounded up to 3 stars ⭐️.I hope my review has been helpful :). |
